Did Giants Once Live in Minnesota?
A book posting that giants once walked the earth cites this article about an interesting discovery near Clear Water, Minnesota.
Every now and then someone comes across this reference and our librarians get a question about it.
Luckily, the source cites that date, so we’ve been able to find it… even though the story runs all of a paragraph on a many-columned page and shares the spotlight with a music festival in Fargo and grasshopper eradication in Fergus Falls.
The brief article ran in the June 29, 1888 Saint Paul and Minneapolis Pioneer Press.
